Kenny Chesney still holds the title of Entertainer of the Year The singer won the award for the fourth year in a row at Sunday night s 43rd Annual Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas This is the first year fans voted for the category winner Chesney thanked his supporters for the honor but later criticized the voting process saying it has become a sweepstakes to see who can push people s buttons the hardest on the Internet That s according to a People magazine report Carrie Underwood Taylor Swift and Brad Paisley also took home awards
Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are now a married couple The pair reportedly exchanged vows this weekend at Simpson s parents home The 23-year-old singer walked down the aisle in a Monique Lhuillier wedding gown and William Noble jewels Simpson s sister Jessica was the maid of honor and her father Joe performed the ceremony One hundred fifty people attended the Alice in Wonderland-themed wedding One guest described the ceremony to E News saying it was very moving
The Chronicles of Narnia Prince Caspian starring Ben Barnes Georgie Henley and William Moseley is topping U S box offices The film took in more than 56 million in ticket sales during its opening weekend bumping Iron Man with Robert Downey Jr to the No 2 spot What Happens in Vegas with Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher rounds out the weekend s top three That s all according to Box Office Mojo

The upcoming movie musical Nine has a new star Daniel Day-Lewis is reportedly slated to take on the leading role just weeks after Javier Bardem decided to give it up Day-Lewis will play an Italian film director who struggles to find intersections among his art love life and religion Marion Cotillard Sophia Loren and Penelope Cruz will all be part of the supporting cast Nine is set to be released next year
